Gotta stop looking …

I was just sat waiting for PayPal etc to load up to make a payment online, and thought I’d kill some time looking at the Hoffman site … originally I was going to search for an idea for an upcoming gift, but then thought I’d check out the July new releases … which means the wishlist is growing yet again – oh boy, I’ve gotta get that 50 project challenge done soon (as if I really need anything new LOL).  Anyway, I thought I’d share some new designs that I’ve been seeing recently (some from the Hoffman site, and some elsewhere), seeing as I have nothing else to share …

And this is not a new chart by any means, but I thought I’d still share it …

I also read in the latest Gift of Stitching magazine that Crescent Colours/LHN will be bringing out a coffee and tea set in September … now that is something I definitely want sight unseen!  I’m really keen to make a cartonnage box for all my different tea bags, and I’ve been searching online for something that would be suitable for the box top … I think that may be perfect (I’d really love to have 3 separate lids on the caddy.  Can’t wait to see what they come up with 😀

Rightio, now I’m off to put a couple of stitches into a Chatelaine freebie and watch the start of the Da Vinci Code on DVD before I have to get dressed for work (3pm shifts today, which is one of my favourites yippee) … but then I move to 6pm shifts on Wednesday, which is one of my least favourite 😉  One of the fantastic things about being back in Bentleigh again is the local Blockbuster store – only $2 for ‘recent’ releases and $3.95 for new releases … it used to be $6.95 in Elwood … luv ya Bentleigh! 😀

  1. I may have to get that LHN one as well – I’ve found that they are ideal for train/bus stitching, being relatively small and uncomplicated. I’m just about to start Marquoir de Justine, as soon as the linen arrives, and that one won’t be going near public transport.

  2. Aren’t some of the new releases lovely? I’m looking forward to those tes/coffee ones too – especially the coffee 🙂 Hope you had a good shift. And $2 for a film – wow that’s cheap!

  3. I’m looking forward to the tea designs too! (I’m not a coffee drinker – like the smell, just don’t like the taste).

I love “My precious treasures” too. Just lovely – can see why you’d like it Anne, it could easily be a blue design.

  4. I too love the LHN Garden Pleasures that you have listed. Great!
I’m into anything LHN as late and am turning into a groupie!
    LOL!
Hope you have a fantastic week!

  5. Oh dear, that’s the trouble with just looking to see what’s new, you end up wanting everything. I’m being good though as I’m on the wagon until at least December. I do like that Autumn Sewing Roll, the colours are so cheerful. I do wish you hadn’t mentioned the LHN coffee and tea set, that sounds like it would be right up my street!

  6. I know what you mean….I have to stop myself looking too….stay tuned for a blog about my recent purchases!!! LOL….take care

  7. Hi Anne – that Stitching Treasures set from Blue Ribbon Designs has your name written all over it! I’m rather fond of the new LHN designs.

Hope all is well. I’ve been horribly behind in my blog reading, so I may not stop by very often, but I’m always thinking about you!

  8. I love the LHN chart – very cute; I’ve just discovered this designer, and I can see my wish list getting larger, too!

  9. It’s been forever since I caught up, and you’ve been busy! Lovely, lovely stash idea pics too. I love all that blue style.

How did you like the Da Vinci Code? Did you read the book first? I did, and thought the book was fantastic. The film was a let down though 😦

  10. Dear Anne, you little honey! You’ve been busy as a bee circling Hoffman! I just received the BlueRibbon piece, as well, and I love it! Really think we’ll ever have time to stitch it?? 🙂 I hope so! You’ve made me think I need to see “DiVinci” again, so I’m now off to Blockbusters!
    Love and hugs,
    Deb
