This week’s theme is “Thirteen” and I have to say this one had me stumped … I had visions of tramping around the streets to find a wonderful looking “13” in a doorway or mailbox or somewhere, but figure I could be doing that for weeks on end before finding something suitable (and I have other deadline stuff that put a stop to those thoughts, not to mention the dreadful weather of late.  Instead, I came up with a collage of 13 Roses from my existing photos … hopefully that will fulfil this week’s Photo Hunt theme!

I am a bit late posting this week, as I forgot last week was the final post that was ‘posted in advance’ – now I’m back to normal posting having to remember each week … oh what a challenge haha.

This week’s theme is Twist(ed) and my photo choice is the twisted rope anchoring a ship to the dock at Docklands, Melbourne.  I love the texture and twists of the fibres in the rope!

This week’s theme is “High” and I am a bit stumped which photo to choose this week.  I have loads of shots that I’d love to use, such as the high views over the city of Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower … but alas, they’re all still at home in NZ.  So, this week, I’ve chosen a shot of the Nan Tien Temple at Woollongong, NSW. This is the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern hemisphere … and this building sits pretty high on the landscape! 🙂

I’m totally spoilt for choice for this week’s theme of “wooden” … so I’ve chosen one photo that I’ve already used at the start of the Photo Hunt, plus two others.

Even though the photo isn’t a great one in terms of skill or technical ability – this is my choice for this week’s theme of “free” … I always think it must be such a sense of freedom to be sailing over the earth with nothing but a basket under your feet. Although I haven’t been hot air ballooning myself yet, it’s definitely very high up the “to do” list! This is the view I had from my kitchen window one morning in Elwood …
