I love those soft colors.
That’s to bad about running out of thread. I did this kit, and I am pretty sure I didn’t run out (I would have remember that!), but they are always tight on giving enough floss.
I agree with you though-it is a beautiful piece!
So sweet! Hmmm, this makes me want to get my SB St. Peter’s Fair kit out….
It’s gorgeous!
The little SB kit I had for my Easter finish had enough material to easily do the project twice. Weird, huh?
That is so adorable!!!!
So pretty! Fingers crossed you don’t run out of thread too. Which one is it? I’ll check the stash for you just in case 🙂
It’s an Au Ver A Soie “Soie d’Alger” silk – #3721 ‘palest green’. Thanks for checking lovey!! 😀 There’s been plenty of all the other colours, but just not this one … and I’ve been stitching right up to the last 2 inches of thread on purpose because of having kit problems in the past (not with SB, though). I’m thinking of just doing a half stitch like the other two lots of wings, and hoping it will be enough that way … maybe … LOL.
Looking fabulous Anne! Won’t be too long till you have it all done!
the colours are really pretty! I love it! well done 🙂
So pretty! Great going!
Lovely stitching.
Anne…received your card a while ago now. What with back problems and no phone line until today I haven’t had chance to let you know. 🙂
I don’t blame you for being in love with this kit, errr.. I mean design. Don’t love those blasted kits, do you? I know what you mean. If I had that thread, I’d send it off to you, but sometimes it takes longer than you would want to wait. I do love this design!
Anne, I have 3721 if you want some. Hopefully the dye lot matches. I find Soie D’Alger a bit funny in that regard. I can pop a length in the post if you want. 🙂
It’s looking gorgeous Anne, I did this one a couple of years ago and don’t remember running out of any of the colours
