Cross Stitch

January Challenge – Day 6

Um, stitching didn’t appear to have been on the cards today thanks to a farewell dinner that I only just got home from (it’s now 11pm) … I guess I can fall into bed and grab my Qsnaps and really quickly put a couple of stitches into JBW Designs Autumn Harvest, and that’ll quality as a start right?  Hmmm, my eyeballs are just about falling out of my head, so I can’t guarantee I won’t have to frog-stitch again tomorrow, but here goes nothing …

Tonight we are saying goodbye to one of our favourite Indian colleagues, who has an awesome sense of humour, and has one of the gentlest and respectful personalities you could ever meet.  He’s coming up to marrying age in the next couple of years – which lucky girl wins his heart will have a treasure for life … I miss having him around already …

Um, maybe don’t expect a progress piccie on this one tonight 😛 LOL

  1. I am counting just a few stitching as a start. I knew that some days it would be tough to find the time for a new start, but a minimum of 10 stitches would qualify. So far, so good. I am surprised at how much I am enjoying this challenge. I thought at some point I would become annoyed or feel pressured by the daily deadline. In fact I actually feel energized with each new start. That’s a good thing since we are not half way through yet!

  2. A couple of stitches in a piece counts!

I have a lot of Indian colleagues at my company, and they are all funny, charming people – I sat with a table full of them at my company’s Christmas party a few weeks ago; I had a fun time.
