I was curious if you could share the name of the company that desigened the beautiful peacock pincushion that you have displayed in your smalls basket? It is wonderful and the metallics just makes the peacock pop. I thought that it may have been an old Textile Heritage kit, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere, but knowing the name of the design would probably help. If you still have the chart, I’d be interested in trading for it. I have a few things in my stash that is on your wish list, so we may be able to work something out?

June 16, 2010 Just now realized you had replied. I found it in a bag where I keep charts for afghans. Who knows why! Maybe I was putting a chart in and this was with it. I don’t ask anymore, I just hope things will turn up again someday while I’m still alive to stitch them.. I have sometime in the last month managed to lose a stitcher’s quarter of linen. I mean really…18″ x 18″ isn’t exactly misplaceable- at least for most people.

Came across the report of Greame Ross’s demise and then found your wish list and trade items. I have 2 foolscap lever arch files full of Mirabilla & Lavender & Lace charts that were given to me by the son of a neighbour who died. He worked on oil rigs and was away, so I used to go and sit with her, natter, drink tea and generally keep an eye on her for him, When she passed away he gave me all her stitching charts & items. They are not the type of stitching I like so after checking I have both the “Christmas Elf Fairy” and “Celtic Winter” (and spring, summer & autumn!)Would swop for Ross’s “Major Mitchel Cockatoo” & “Kookaburra”. I also have around 260 Tiger & big cat charts – they are my passion. I hope we can come to some arrangement and trade as I am in England, but am more than happy to post out to you.
